Join us this fall for a special edition of Delphi Developer Days, a workshop focused on database development. This two-day workshop, presented by Delphi database experts Cary Jensen and Bob (Dr.Bob) Swart, provides you with an insider's perspective on database development with Delphi. Topics that are covered include connecting to databases using FireDAC, advanced FireDAC configuration, and essential database operations, such as reading and writing data, using indexes, and searching and filtering. We also cover advanced FireDAC techniques, including high-performance operations using Array DML, creating flexible queries using the SQL command preprocessor, and advanced editing using cached updates.

In addition, we take an in-depth look at multi-tier development using DataSnap with FireDAC and RAD Server. Here you will learn how to access your data from mobile applications, how to support both Delphi and non-Delphi clients using REST (REpresentational State Transfer), and how to create RAD Server microservices with Delphi.

You are welcome to bring your laptop to this workshop (though it is not required), and there will be opportunities to work with provided code samples and experiment with the techniques being covered. Delphi Developer Days History

Delphi Developer Days is an annual tour of two-day Delphi events. Delphi Developer Days provides a unique event that combines intense Delphi training with an intimate conference / meeting setting. This year's tour features Bob Swart and Cary Jensen, and is jointly offered by Bob Swart Training & Consultancy, and Jensen Data Systems, Inc. Delphi Developer Days was first presented in 2001 by Cary Jensen of Jensen Days Systems. In 2009-2012, Marco Cantù, formerly of Wintech Italia, Srl and current Delphi/RAD Studio Product Manager, and Cary Jensen joined forces to co-offer Delphi Developer Days in Europe and in the United States. In 2013-2014, noted Delphi expert Bob Swart of Bob Swart Training and Consultancy and Cary Jensen presented. The 2015 tour featured Delphi guru and Embarcadero MVP Ray Konopka and Cary Jensen presenting. For the 2016 tour, Nick Hodges, now Director of Engineering at Embarcadero Technologies, joined Cary Jensen.
