Top Delphi experts Marco Cantù and Cary Jensen present their annual Delphi Developer Days tour starting March 26-27, 2012 in London, UK and concluding May 17-18, 2012 in Rome, Italy. Delphi Developer Days are two-day live Delphi events that provide developers with the latest information on Delphi as well as practical techniques to help developers improve their Delphi development skills. Each event includes both joint sessions, presented by Marco and Cary together, as well as simultaneous tracks, where Cary and Marco break out into separate rooms to present individual Delphi topics. There's also an Embarcadero Technologies Keynote, and an additional guest speaker presentation in each city from Delphi experts such as Bob Swart, Ray Konopka, Jim McKeeth, Daniele Teti, and Bruno Fierens.
"We're extremely excited about the 2012 tour since we'll have a chance to discuss some of the great XE2 and FireMonkey capabilities," says Marco Cantù. Cary Jensen continues. "That's right. We're also presenting joint sessions on Delphi Database strategies where we cover DataSnap, REST, and Cloud features. We're also covering Delphi Internet applications where we focus on Web development, REST, IntraWeb, and WebBroker. In addition, you can expect a healthy dose of classic Delphi topics that apply to versions of Delphi going back to Delphi 7."
Some of the simultaneous individual sessions cover XE2 topics such LiveBindings, the FireMonkey class library, and mobile development topics. Additional individual sessions cover reflection and attributes, ClientDataSets, and migrating legacy application to Unicode-enabled Delphi versions. Marco and Cary finish each day with a roundtable Q&A session where developers can both ask questions of Cary and Marco as well as share knowledge. Descriptions and an agenda can be found at http://www.delphideveloperdays.com/descriptions.html.
All Attendees Receive:
Space is limited to the first 35 registrants in each city. "We limit attendance to keep our events intimate so that developers have time to talk with us and each other. It's a unique combination of intensive Delphi training with a networking mini-conference, " says Cary. Marco adds, "We typically have developers from a number of different countries and from many industries. We surveyed the Delphi community this fall and selected the top six requested cities. Our event locations are easy to travel to."
Registration is now open for all six events. There are discounts for early registration, previous attendees, and groups of developers from the same company; see online for details. Price and registration information is available at: http://www.DelphiDeveloperDays.com.
