Q. What are the times of the event?

A. Event Time Schedule:
Registration: 8:00 am - 8:30 am, on Day 1
Sessions: Day 1: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm /8:30 - 17:30, Day 2: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm /8:30 - 17:00

Q. Are the presentations lecture-style or hands-on?

A. Lecture-style since Bob and Cary are covering quite a bit of information.

Q. What language is spoke for the presentations?

A. English only. All sessions are presented in English in all events. This includes all sessions presented by Bob and Cary as well any Embarcadero keynote and any special guest speaker sessions.

Q. Can I bring my laptop to the event?

A. Yes, but...
We cannot guarantee that there will be adequate space or power outlets at the hotel for you to be able to plug in their laptops. A laptop is not required since the event is lecture-style and is not designed to be hands-on because of the depth and breath of the material covered. You WILL receive code examples presented during the event as well as additional code examples so that you will have the examples later. Note that if you bring a laptop, you must have Delphi already installed. The hotel has wireless Internet access.

Q. Am I going to get information and content during the event (or am I going to get marketing material and a sales pitch)?

A. Information and content. If you've attended Delphi Developer Days, or one of Cary Jensen's or Bob Swart's seminars or workshops in the past, or you've seen Bob or Cary speak at conferences, you know this already. (See what others have said about Developer Days events and workshops: click here.)

Q. Will I get a chance to talk with Bob and Cary?

A. Yes, that's why we limit attendance. We want to have a small group so that the event is intimate, but still large enough so that you have to meet many other Delphi developers. Besides asking questions during the sessions, you can talk with Bob or Cary during breaks and lunch.

Q. Is lunch included in the seminar price?

A. Yes.

Q. Is my hotel guest room included in the seminar price?

A. No. Some of our hotels offer a discount for the guest (sleeping) rooms. Please see the information about the hotel location for an event city.
